Hey,
I'm Anders from SlideHub,
and I'm happy to present this month's product
update with the latest changes to our platform.
This month,
we have quite a lot of updates to present.
We are introducing a new concept called Slide Collections.
00:19
Then we've done a lot of improvements
to our AI Text-to-Slide feature.
Then we made some improvements to the Similar Slides functionality.
We made the opportunity for managers
to add slides presentation faster.
Then we added a number of improvements
to our new email signature feature.
00:40
Slide Collections is a new way for managers on an account,
but also for the Inspiration slides to be categorized
in various different ways.
If you have access to the Inspiration slides,
you will see these ones when browsing the slides.
So when you're sitting at looking at the different slides,
you now see this little collection indication here.
01:06
What this allows you to is you can click this
small icon,
then you'll see all the different slides
that have the same fundamental design,
but have different number of elements on it.
So it's a quick way for you to file alternatives
to a given slide that you're already working with.
01:26
If I enter the slide,
what you'll also see is that
when I'm active on the slide,
you will actually have access to this collection item.
You can click that directly
and then you can find the alternative versions of
the slide as well.
01:42
Eventually,
with AI functionality,
we'll be able to do directly updates
across these different types of slides.
But for now,
we will just help you find the alternative versions.
As a manager on a SlideHub account,
the way you set up these different collections
is that you navigate to the manager view.
02:09
And you can then go to the area called collections.
Here you can then create your first collection by
finding slides that are related in one way or the other.
This might be because they are related due to their design,
as you saw in the inspiration slide case.
But it might also be because the slides
might be the same slide in different languages or they
might have some other very close connection where you would
like to guide the end users towards finding other slides.
02:41
So maybe in this case, you can use these
steps here.
I then give it a name.
And so on.
And then this way,
you can see the different slides in here.
You can remove them if you like.
02:58
You can add more slides
by going through the system here.
And we can delete them and so forth.
The slides will then show up with the
same icons as the inspiration slides.
So that's basically how it's done for a manager.
All right.
03:16
For the AI Texto slide,
we've done quite a lot of improvements this
month in terms of both the user experience,
some of the core functionality and the user interface itself.
So
the first thing you'll notice is that
you now have the opportunity to use potential company slide.
03:34
This has been marked as AI slides in the system.
You can also use icons and images from your company.
For this purpose,
we'll keep using the inspiration slides and use the normal icons.
But let's use the
company specific images for this.
Another thing you'll notice
is that the system now starts out with a much simpler interface,
where it includes the example of what you
can do directly here in the input area.
04:08
So let's say I want to create a slide about the
services of this logistic company called ECMI Logistics.
So let's do something like this.
Slide
about our services.
Cool.
All right.
04:25
So what the system does now,
it looks at what I asked for,
and I can say,
okay,
you're trying to do a slide about our services.
But wait,
you already have a slide in the system that talks about our services.
04:38
Are you sure you don't just want to use one of those instead of
building out a new thing?
So if I want to,
I can either bring in the presentation or I
can bring in the individual slides in this case
directly into my presentation.
This slide, for example,
will go in here.
04:58
And you can see it has
certain aspects related to what we do in the organization.
However,
this is not what I was looking for.
I want something new.
So I'll then click just click
Generate a new.
05:19
The first thing you'll be asked here is like what
level of density do you want the slide to be in?
And you can pick,
let's say it should be detail,
medium.
And for this,
I want like a detailed report style.
05:30
And it also asks whether the AI should use internal knowledge,
this information in the slide of library to build the slide,
external knowledge or no knowledge at all.
Here I'll use the internal knowledge.
And new thing here as well is that you can see the text before it
generates the slide.
So for illustrative purposes, do that.
05:50
The system then searches the internal slides
and content.
And then outlines the text we used in the slide sheet.
Here outlines the different descriptions of the slide.
This looks fine.
I'll click Continue.
Now the AI gives me some different options
for what I can choose.
06:15
And in this case,
I want to use something really rich with a lot of bullet points.
I'll try to make it slightly different.
And maybe I'll pick this one over here.
And then one thing you'll notice here
that you can actually pick multiple items.
So I can pick this one.
06:30
I can pick this one.
Maybe I can go back
and pick
this one.
Something in here with some images on it.
And also this.
So I can actually get four versions of my slide right away.
06:41
I can also go and look at my original prompt here.
It's also something new.
In case you can't remember what you provided.
Click Generate Slide here.
It will start creating all four slides in parallel in the background.
If you don't want to sit and watch this and
you want to get back to your other slides,
you can actually go and click Run Background.
07:03
And then you can go in and start a new slide generation here.
However,
if you want to track this status along,
you can click in the settings here and you can see the slide.
As soon as the slide finalizes,
they get inserted into your way or active in the presentation.
So you can see it now created the slide with
the different services that we provide in this
company of different style.
07:34
And then,
you know,
I can go back and keep building new slides while the
other things are being executed in the background.
So the idea here is really that we want to allow
you to be or remain in flow so that you don't
need to sit and wait for the slides to come in.
07:50
But you can actually get started on something else.
You could go into something like
create a slide about why a customer should
pick us over some other provider.
And you can have that running while the
other slides get created in the background.
So again, we already have something about this.
08:19
Anyway, create a new slide and so forth.
So
if you tried the AI feature before,
you'll notice a lot of new changes here.
Both the ability to reuse existing slides,
run things in background,
do multiple slides at once,
and add a completely new view take on the user experience.
08:38
Yeah,
hope this matches some of your needs or you find
this interesting and willing to give it a shot.
It is still a beta feature,
as we can see in the indication here.
There are still like a lot of things
we want to do and make it even better.
08:55
So please expect even more updates to come in the
near future.
As a manager on a account with AI enabled,
you have a number of different settings you can do.
You have this whole setting where you
can customize the experience a lot more.
But you also have the ability to go in
and assign slides to being AI slides.
09:20
The way it works is that you go into the manage library,
click the AI slides tab.
By default,
it shows you all the slides that are already AI enabled.
But you can also go in and say all slides,
or you can see all the slides that are currently not enabled.
And then you can go through and you can
enable more of these slides being used for AI.
09:41
When you enable slides being used for AI,
the system analyzes it and then try
to determine what type of slide it is,
how many sections it has,
and so forth,
so that it will be used in the smartest way going forward.
If you want to take a look at what it does,
you can go in,
you can say like,
you reanalyze the slide here.
10:05
And you can see,
it then try to identify what type of
slides we see.
This is a flow process.
It says here in this case, it says it has eight
structure points.
That's actually like a little bit too many.
10:18
So I think we can actually go in and overwrite
and help the AI get this right by updating it.
And we can save it.
So
in this way,
you also get more control over how the system and the
AI uses the slides by getting the right categorization.
10:33
You can also use filters here to go in and find
particular slides that you know is
maybe part of a particular category.
Another improvement we did this month is
to our similar slide scanning feature.
So the way you access this feature is by going to the MetaView,
to the slides,
to the overview,
and then you can either click individual slides and scan for similar,
or you can scan the entire library as we will do now.
11:05
One new thing is that you can now pick identical as a filter,
apply the filter,
and then only identical slides will show up.
You can also see that the speed is now two to
three times faster than it was in the past.
One of the changes we also added as part of this
is that when you get some similar slide results,
you can actually go in and you can see a small
batch that indicates the degree of similarity.
11:31
So in this way,
it's quicker for you to identify which
slides are identical,
which are just close matches and so forth.
Once you click Merge identical,
the slides will be combined into one.
It takes about a second per slide and
runs right away once you confirm it.
11:51
So
that is how it works.
The next thing I want to show is how the
platform now allows you to add slides
or presentations faster to the library
by basically skipping some of the non-crucial steps
or non-required steps of the process of adding slides.
12:17
So imagine that I'm about to select the file here.
I select it.
It does its normal validation.
But the new thing is now I can actually pick this option,
say skip detail process steps.
And it says here that it skips the step in
which you do individual labels on the slides.
12:34
It also skips the similar slide scanning
and cover slide selections and so forth.
In this case, I'm okay with that.
I just want to add these slides,
standalone slides.
So I'll pick this option here.
And all these slides are inspiration slides.
12:49
None of them are high priority or anything.
So I'll just save this.
And then it will just have the slides being added to the system.
You will notice that it takes,
you know,
a little bit of time for them to be finally ready here.
But within,
you know,
a number of seconds,
the slides will show up as a little bit of time.
13:03
And then it will show up as regular slides in the system.
And you can do the same thing with presentations as well.
It's the same thing.
The system just automatically just picks
the first slide as the cover slide.
This month,
we also did a number of updates to our email signature feature.
13:24
So now you are able to have multiple signatures at the same time.
So you can go in and create a new signature.
In this case, I'll do it optimize for outlook.
So there's not going to be any images in it.
I'll say sample here.
Pick a font that's web proof that all systems should render well.
Sample.
13:48
Just a sample.
I can confirm it.
I can then go in and modify it any way I want.
I can modify what should be in it and so on.
I can do it different for forward,
email and reply.
All the same things as the normal email signature.
14:03
I can save it and I can publish it.
Then when I come to my placeholders here,
I can go in for the different people in my account
and I can set different placeholders for them.
But also,
I can actually on my own account,
I can go in and I can pick which email signatures use.
14:24
And with this update,
users can also go in and change the
email signature feature in general.
So if there was some reason I don't
want it to run for certain people,
they can be disabled.
They can be disabled
on their own.
14:38
Another thing is that we can now do
mass updates of all the information.
So you can go in and
download the existing information on all the relevant people.
And then you can also then upload new versions.
So in this way,
you can help your organization to get started
really fast by populating the information for them
or on their behalf.
15:00
And yeah,
to kind of get everybody a good start
with the email signature feature.
We can also delete the email signature formats
if you like
the formats.
You can change the default and so forth.
15:14
Yeah.
So a lot of changes there.
We still have slots available.
So if you are an existing customer and
want to deploy the email signature feature,
you want some support setting it up in terms of the
format and how to do that in a good way and so forth,
then we do have some slots available for people who
want some direct support from our senior developers.
