Hi,
Timea here with the latest SlideHub product updates.
This November our product team has been busy
with updates to our AI Text to Slide feature,
improvements to the AI enabled search,
PDF support and more.
Let's jump right in.
00:16
First, our AI TechSucide feature in beta.
We are continuously improving this based on your feedback.
The feature is now faster,
more consistent and more accurate.
We have also added over 100 new designs.
You can now choose the style,
whether it's a product or a product.
00:33
You can also add instructions and help
the AI search the internet for content.
Let me show you how it works.
To begin,
click on the Text to Slide button within the add-in.
One of the new updates is that you can now select how
the AI optimizes your content based on your use case.
00:52
The first option is to Optimize for Audience.
This is ideal when you're presenting live to an audience.
The AI will minimize text and summarize content for visual effects.
clarity,
keeping your slides clean and presentation ready.
The second option is Detailed Slide.
This is the best for reports or documentation
where you need comprehensive information.
01:09
The AI will expand your content to
provide greater detail and clarity.
The third option is Preserve Input Text.
Choose this when you want to keep your
original text as intact as possible.
The AI will make minimal adjustments and
provide a summary of any changes made.
01:23
For this demonstration,
I select Preserve Input Text.
Now, I'll paste the content I prepared.
This is information about our demo logistics company.
An account we've created for demonstration purposes.
Before generating the slide,
let's review the style settings.
01:37
Click Style to customize elements such as icon type and color,
color templates,
and other visual assets.
Once you've confirmed your preferences,
click Confirm Style.
Next, select your preferred layout.
The AI provides best matches based on your content,
but you can also choose from other layout options.
01:55
After selecting your design,
click Customize Slide.
The AI will now generate your slide,
and identify relevant icons for the content.
Notice the pink sticker on the slide.
This summarizes the changes made to your input text.
Since I selected Preserve Input Text,
modifications are minimal.
02:15
The original input is also available in the footnotes for reference.
Please remember to read the output as your feedback
continuously helps us to improve this feature.
Now,
let's explore providing instructions to the AI. For this example,
I'll instruct the AI to translate the
text to Danish while optimizing it for audience presentation.
02:35
Simply type your instruction in the input field,
in this case translate to Danish,
select your design,
and proceed.
As with all AI-generated content,
we recommend reviewing the output to ensure accuracy.
Finally,
the AI can now search the internet for information.
02:57
I'll demonstrate by requesting a slide about the average number of
hours employees spend creating slides.
I'll enter this prompt into the input field,
select the design,
and the AI will search for relevant data and generate the slide.
And that's it! We hope the AI Text to Slide feature,
although still in beta,
helps you save significant time when creating new slides.
03:22
Before users can access the AI Text to Slide feature,
you will need to enable it.
First,
you need to enable AI for the entire account.
To do that, go to Accounts
Settings and click on the Settings and click on the Security tab.
Scroll down a bit and you will see the section Enable AI Features.
03:36
Click Enable and hit the Save button.
This will also enable the AI-powered search in your slide
search view so your users will have access to both features.
Now,
to enable the Beta Text to Slide feature for specific users,
you will need to do it individually for each user.
Go to Users in the navigation,
then click on the name of the user you
would like to enable the feature for.
03:55
Scroll down and you will find the toggle for AI Text to Slide.
Toggle it on and now the user will have access to the feature.
If you would like to try it out,
just reach out to our Customer Success
team at Success at SlideHub.com.
Next,
as we are focusing on our AI roadmap quite a bit,
we've also made improvements to our AI-enabled search.
04:15
The search is now two times faster
than before and much more transparent.
To use AI Search,
click the Search drop-down and select AI
-enabled search or type your question directly.
You'll notice the speed improvement immediately.
Search is now returned results twice as fast as before.
04:34
To make the whole process more transparent,
you can now see exactly what the AI is searching
for so you understand how your results were found.
To do that,
just click on the Search is conducted behind the scene drop-down.
We've also added direct links to take you straight to
the specific slide where the information came from.
04:53
Just click the icon next to the information and a new
window will pop up with the slide the information was found.
This makes it easier to refine your searches and find
the information you need from your company slides.
Next,
you can now upload PDF files directly to SlideHub.
Simply upload to your library and they will be accessible
to your team alongside slides and other assets.
05:16
Let me show you how.
As an admin,
you can now upload PDFs to your library,
giving your team easy access to all
company assets in one central location.
So let's walk through how to set it up.
First, we need to enable PDFs in your library.
05:31
Head over to Manager View,
click on Assets in the navigation and you'll see a PDFs tab.
Click on that, then select Enabled.
Now you get to decide who can access these PDFs,
everyone or just managers.
Once you get everything configured,
just hit Save All. Now PDFs will show
up as an asset type in your library.
05:48
To add a new file,
just go to the library where you want
to add it to and click on the PDFs tab.
If this is your first PDF,
you will see a prompt to add a new file,
so just click Upload.
Select your file, then click Save and Next.
06:03
Here you can configure your file settings.
If you would like to keep it hidden from end users for now,
you can set it to Draft.
Add some labels to help your team easily find the file,
and if you'd like, you can assign an owner.
When you are done,
click Next and the file will be uploaded to the library,
ready to use.
06:23
Within the file settings,
you can make edits to the name and the labels,
just like with other assets.
You'll also see stats like the number of downloads and the changelog.
If you need to update the file,
just click Replace and select the correct file or version.
Under Previous Versions,
you can keep track of all changes and easily
replace the current version with the previous one,
edit as a new PDF,
or delete a specific version from the changelog.
06:49
And that's it! You can now use Slidehub as your central PDF library,
giving your team easy access to all
your important documents in one place.
When you open the Slidehub add-in in Outlook,
you will see a PDF button.
Click on it to access your company's PDF files
and quickly attach any of them to your email.
07:06
For a quick search within the add-in,
use the small search icon,
then hover over the file you would like to attach and click Attach.
Before attaching,
you have the option to rename the file.
This is useful if you want the attachment to have a specific name.
The name you enter here is what will
appear as the attachment in your email.
07:25
We've also made the interface more consistent.
Non-Slide assets now have the same consistent interface as slides.
Images,
icons,
documents,
sheets,
PDFs,
and text snippets all feature quick preview
zoom and the ability to copy direct links.
07:38
As an admin in end user view,
you'll also see the cogwheel icon when hovering over
each asset that takes you directly to its settings.
Next,
we also added ImageHub integration to Slidehub.
To set it up,
navigate to asset settings in the manager view,
click on the image tab and scroll down
to the image of integration section.
08:01
Enter your image shop account number and API key and that's it.
Once configured,
your team can access your entire image shop library
directly from within Slidehub.
Before we wrap it up,
Luke,
one of our CS managers will show you how to download,
edit,
and batch upload multiple slides from
your library to update them all at once.
08:20
Hi everyone, this is Luke here from Slidehub.
I'm a Customer Success Manager and today I'm going
to show you how to update multiple slides in batch.
Let me move my
face here.
Firstly,
I'm looking from the browser view.
08:37
You can also do this
from PowerPoint.
I click on Manage View here in the bottom left
and I can pick and choose any slides I like,
of course,
to go ahead and download,
edit
for a re-upload.
08:51
So if we wanted to
update some of the company introduction slides,
I know that these slides exist in multiple presentations.
I could take this milestones one.
I could take the About Us slide and
I can also take the Services slide.
I can download these three and I could download these
three and I would choose to download the Manager version.
09:11
It's giving me that option here because as we can see,
this one has a placeholder,
which means that if I was to download it normally,
it would prompt me to fill.
But I want to edit the base slide.
Click on Download.
Stitches the slides together just as normal.
09:30
I can go ahead and open the file.
Great.
Enable Editing.
And let's say
I made changes.
Same again.
I made changes.
09:49
Whatever those changes might be.
Here is just the text,
but this is a PowerPoint file.
You can go ahead and
make any changes at all.
I would open up SlideHub
and then what you may be used to is
that you can update slide by slide
in PowerPoint.
10:07
In PowerPoint.
Like so.
I can just press this button.
But let's say you have 50 slides and these 50 slides are in multiple
presentations and it makes sense to do it in a more batch method.
I can just go ahead and save this file.
We can call it,
yeah,
keep it as combined slides.
10:24
We can replace the existing file now with the changes.
I can go back into my browser view
and we're still in Manage Assets and rather than Add New,
I would click Update Multiple
I can click Upload a File.
I can click Upload a File.
Take these slides.
10:41
Move my face again.
Does the normal stuff.
Validation checks like image size, languages.
Here it's saying that there's both UK and US so
I can keep it as the company default language.
Tells me that there are existing placeholders.
Let's recognize these because we downloaded
them as their raw placeholder text
by clicking Download Manager Version.
11:05
So I can re-link.
Not worried about sensitive content.
Click Next.
Then it identifies the pre-existing slides in the library.
And then it fetches those to compare
which slides need to be updated to what.
I can check that if I want.
11:24
If I compare it slide by slide,
I can see the changes that are made.
I'm sure that the rest makes sense.
And then I would just click Update Selected.
So we've just used three slides here.
But you can see how powerful this can be if you have to,
you know,
in marketing or knowledge management,
whatever it might be,
download,
sorry,
edit at scale in just a couple of clicks rather than,
you know,
11:49
going into a SharePoint and deleting files,
re-uploading them,
letting the team know.
Like here it's all done automatically.
People will get notifications when they go to use
a milestones slide again and then they'll be prompted
to put in that new slide using version control.
12:05
So I hope this has been useful and thanks for your time.
That's everything for this month.
If you have any questions about these features,
reach out to our customer success team at success at slide up.com.
Thanks for watching.
