Hi,
Timea here with the latest SlideHub product updates.
This November our product team has been busy
with updates to our AI Text to Slide feature,
improvements to the AI-enabled search,
PDF support and more.
Let's jump right in.
00:16
First, our AI Text to Slide feature in BETA.
We are continuously improving this based on your feedback.
The feature is now faster,
more consistent and more accurate.
We have also added over 100 new designs.
You can now choose the style whether
you want minimal content with less text,
more detailed slides or preserve as
much of your original input as possible.
00:36
You can also add instructions and have
the AI search the internet for content.
Let me show you how it works.
To begin,
click on the Text-to-Slide button within the add-in.
One of the new updates is that you can now select how
the AI optimizes your content based on your use case.
00:52
The first option is to optimize for audience.
This is ideal when you're presenting live to an audience.
The AI will minimize text and summarize content for visual clarity,
keeping your slides clean and presentation ready.
The second option is Detailed Slide.
This is the best for reports or documentation
where you need comprehensive information.
01:09
The AI will expand your content to
provide greater detail and clarity.
The third option is Preserve Input Text.
Choose this when you want to keep your
original text as intact as possible.
The AI will make minimal adjustments and
provide a summary of any changes made.
01:23
For this demonstration,
I select Preserve Input Text.
Now, I'll paste the content I prepared.
This is information about our demo logistics company,
an account we've created for demonstration purposes.
Before generating the slide,
let's review the style settings.
01:37
Click Style to customize elements such as icon type and color,
color templates,
and other visual assets.
Once you've confirmed your preferences,
click Confirm Style.
Next, select your preferred layout.
The AI provides best matches based on your content,
but you can also choose from other layout options.
01:55
After selecting your design,
click Confirm Style.
Next, select your preferred layout. The AI provides best matches based on your content, but you can also choose from other layout options. After selecting your design, click Confirm Style.
and select your customized slide.
The AI will now generate your slide and
identify relevant icons for the content.
Notice the pink sticker on the slide.
02:08
This summarizes the changes made to your input text.
Since I selected Preserve Input Text,
modifications are minimal.
The original input is also available in the footnotes for reference.
Please remember to read the output as your feedback
continuously helps us to improve this feature.
Now, let's explore providing instructions to the
AI. For this example,
I'll instruct the AI to translate my text to Danish
while optimizing it for audience presentation.
02:35
Simply type your instruction in the input field,
in this case translate to Danish,
select your design and proceed.
As with all AI generated content,
we recommend reviewing the output to ensure accuracy.
Finally,
the AI can now search the internet for information.
02:57
I'll demonstrate by requesting a slide about the
average number of hours employees spend creating slides.
I'll enter this prompt into the input field,
select the design,
and the AI will search for relevant data and generate the slide.
And that's it.
We hope the AI text to slide feature,
although still in beta,
helps you save significant time when creating new slides.

Next,
as we are focusing on our AI roadmap quite a bit,
we've also made improvements to our AI enabled search.
The search is now two times faster
than before and much more transparent.
03:41
To use AI search,
click the search drop down and select AI
enabled search or type your question directly.
You'll notice the speed of the speed of the search.
The search is now three times faster than the right to your test,
which is the speed of the user.
To make the whole process more transparent,
you can now see exactly what the AI is searching
for so you understand how your results were found.
04:02
To do that,
just click on the searches conducted behind the scene drop down.
We've also added direct links to take you straight to
the specific slide where the information came from.
Just click the icon next to the information
and the new window will pop up with the slide.
the information was found in.
04:19
This makes it easier to refine your searches and find the
information you need from your company's slides.
Next,
your library now supports PDF files as well.
If your admin has uploaded PDFs,
you can access them directly from SliteHub
alongside your slides and other assets.
04:40
When you open the SliteHub editing in Outlook,
you will see a PDF button.
Click on it to access your company's PDF files
and quickly attach any of them to your email.
For a quick search within the add-in,
use the small search icon,
then hover over the file you would like to attach and click Attach.
04:55
Before attaching,
you have the option to rename the file.
This is useful if you want the attachment to have a specific name.
The name you enter here is what will
appear as the attachment in your email.
We've also made the interface more consistent.
Non-Slide assets now match the same
interface you're used to with Slides.
05:12
Images,
icons,
documents,
sheets,
PDFs,
and text snippets all have quick preview zoom and
the ability to copy direct links to the asset.
05:26
And finally,
before we wrap it up,
Esser,
one of our CS managers,
will show you how to favorite your most used assets for quick access.
Hi,
everyone.
05:34
This is Esser from the Customer Success Team at SliteHub.
Today,
I would like to share a tip with you where you
can mark your assets in the library as favorite.
This makes it even easier and quicker
for you to locate them in the library.
First of all,
we are in the SliteHub adding view.
05:50
If we click on the insert company's slide button,
you will be brought to the company's slide section in the library.
And if you can see anything that you
would likely use quite frequently,
I would suggest marking them as favorite.
You will find a star button underneath the insert button
when you hover this on top of the slide.
06:11
So just click that.
And now you can see the star being shown
on the thumbnail image of the slide.
That means that you have successfully marked something as favorite.
You can either come to the company
name and click on your favorites tab.
You will find the slide that you have marked favorite here.
06:31
And this helps to locate them centrally.
And you can click on insert to bring them into PowerPoint.
Or you can also come to back to the SliteHub edit view,
click on the magnifying glass button.
And you can find the star just at the very top.
And you can click on that as well.
And just the same way,
you can find your favorite slide here.
06:55
And you can insert them quickly to the PowerPoint presentation.
Not only does it work for the company's slide,
you can do the same also for the inspiration slide,
the icon flag logos,
and as well as images.
So that makes it super time safer to
build up your own favorite collection.
07:17
And it is entirely personal.
So you can feel free to mark as many
things as they are relevant to you.
So yeah, thank you for watching today.
And then I will see you next time.
That's everything for this month.
If you have any questions about these features,
reach out to our customer success team at success at slidehub.com.
07:36
Thanks for watching.
