Q3 Product Deep Dive 2026
A slide number or approved line sits in dozens of decks, documents and PDFs. When it changes, someone updates every file by hand, and the outdated copies keep reaching customers. In this 20-minute session, Anders Thomsen, CEO and co-founder of SlideHub, walks through five Q3 releases that fix that, then gives a first look at what's coming in Q4.
What's new in Q3
Excel Data Link: link charts and tables to an Excel sheet. Change a number and every linked slide follows.
PDF link: a PDF updates when the deck or document it came from changes.
CV and team slides: each person keeps their own profile current, and team slides fill from that data.
Template validation: check slides against your master templates and fix off-template slides in bulk.
Key assets: pin the most important content so it's the first thing everyone sees. Includes a live demo of sending several tailored files in one shared link.
Coming in Q4
AI presentation builder: salespeople describe the client in a prompt, and SlideHub builds the deck from approved slides and the rules marketing sets.
Library insights: see what to fix in your library, and which slides are actually sent, edited or never came from SlideHub.
Watermarks: apply classification watermarks automatically to slides, documents and PDFs.
The session ends with a Q&A on CRM integrations, the AI presentation builder, and sharing files from outside SlideHub.

Hi, everyone. Welcome to SlideHub's quarterly feature deep dive. I'm Inês, I'm your marketing specialist at SlideHub, Anders and I'll be your moderator for today. And I will also be managing the questions in the chat. And if there's anything specific that comes up, feel free to write it right away, and we will explore it at the end of the session. This session is being recorded, so everyone registered will get their recording during next week. And for now, please feel free to submit any questions in the questions or chat panel, and we will answer it in the chat. Now, I would like to introduce you to today's speaker, We have our CEO, CTO, and co-founder at SlideHub, Anders, and he'll be taking us through this session's product updates and how they can help your team work faster. Over to you, Anders. Thank you so much, Inês, and really great to have you on these webinars as well. So, and as Inês said, I'm one of the three co-founders at SlideHub, and I have today been given a really tricky challenge, because I need to cover all these four topics in just 20 minutes. So, let's dive right in. First, a quick recap of what SlideHub does. You can think of SlideHub platforms as an integrated content loop that allows marketing people to manage content, salespeople to find it, then have also salespeople or other users customize the content for each of their different engagements, then use the SlideHub platform to share the content with the relevant people, see who engages with the content, and from those learnings go back and then maintain the content and make it even better. All right. So, let's look at what is new inside of this loop for Q3. In Q3, we have mainly focused on the maintain, the find, and the share parts of the loop. And I'll now sort of dive into each of these ones. The first part, as part of the maintain loop, as those of you who know SlideHub already, we have a lot of functionality in this part of the loop. Here's some of the core ones, including the three new features that we have added today that I'll go through. The first one is Excel data link, the PDF link, and then CV and team slides. If we take a look at the Excel data link, then the way the functionality works on a really high level is that it allows you to take your slides and then link particularly the tables and the graphs on those slides directly to Excel files that are also hosted on the SlideHub platform. So, it really ties together these two different asset types on the system. And the beautiful thing is that when you then update an Excel sheet, the old and associated slides will automatically update based on the changes in the Excel file. So, this basically avoids any of the typical copy-pasting mistakes or having data that is not up to date anymore. The second feature that we released that we wanted to highlight is this PDF link. And what that does is that it allows you to link selected work documents or presentations with PDF files hosted on SlideHub. So, basically the way it works is that once two files have been linked, when the underlying file, the Word file, the PowerPoint file gets updated, the PDF will automatically update into a new version. So, in this way you ensure that you don't have any outdated PDFs that doesn't reflect the underlying information anymore. Last but definitely not least is this functionality related to CV slides. It's a functionality that builds on top of existing functionality that we call data tables. data tables. For those of you who are not familiar with data tables, data tables is this concept that you have a sort of centrally managed collection of data. It can be a combination of text and numbers and images and icons that you manage inside of SlideHub. You can then link that data to one or multiple different slide templates, which allows you to, for example, go in and have a data table filled with previous M&A transactions. And then use the functionality to build a sort of dynamic tombstone slide, bringing in selected deals for a particular proposal. Or, as in this case, the data table can be filled with people and you can then select different people for a post-love or a pitch, reusing the data, making sure that it's already up to date, and then putting it into predefined slide templates. So everything becomes very predictable and centrally managed. What's new in this quarter is that the data table functionality can be directly linked to the users on the system, so that the users can go into their own profile in SlideHub and they can then update and maintain and manage their version of the data. So, for example, if you have CVs linked up, they can go in and change their experience over time or add new project experiences and so on. So that this whole data table remains up to date and ready to be used across the different slide types. All right. Another part of the loop, particularly in the managed loop, that the SlideHub system helps with is this concept of brand governance. Like before, we have a lot of features related to this already. But the new feature that I'd like to talk about today is template validation. What template validation does is that, a bit similar to some of the other features, is that it basically links the slide template or the slide masters with the existing slides in the system. So, as you can also see in the image here, the system will now tell you how many slides in the system is using each of the different templates. The system will also automatically check any new slide that gets added to SlideHub and make sure that it uses the correct template. If it does not match the correct template, the system will also help you to update the slides to make sure that the right template is in place. Last but definitely not least, the system also allows you to take all the slides that are using a particular template, go in and update the template and then have all the associated slides automatically update and get new slide masters. So that way it becomes a lot easier to maintain these updated templates distributions. Alright. Another part of the loop that we wanted to talk about today is the defined part of the loop. Again, we have a number of different features related to this topic already. But the key thing I want to talk about today, and the new one is called key assets. The idea with key assets is that the library maintainer or the marketing team can go in and select or pinpoint certain assets in the system and then bring them up as some of the most important things for people to use. For particular for accounts with thousands of different slides or documents, this functionality makes it a lot easier for new users on SlideHub to find the most relevant things for their workflows. So the idea is that you can combine both documents and presentation and PDFs and sheets in this one view, giving clear direction for the users on what is the most relevant. The functionality also has a few extra functionality. One is that it allows you to use the AI search across all these different asset types at once. And it also directly links in with the shared link functionality. So with that, I'll actually try to share my screen and show you how this functionality actually looks like. So for this particular purpose, I am in the SlideHub version of SlideHub. I'm in this key as a view. And you can see I have my presentations here. Some of the ones we use the most, our free pager or demo main demo deck. And we also have our sort of follow up presentation we use after meetings. So what I'll show you here is how we can take multiple of these files and then create a shared link that you can send to clients with them. So I'll click this follow up document along with our key selected assets. And then I will go in and generate a link here. So the system will then automatically look across the different documents and see what are the shared placeholders that all of them use. One is client name. Another is the client logo. So I'll just pick something quick here. I'll just pick today. And this is me. So that's fine. Then there's some specific things for the first presentation. I'll pick those. I'll just define myself here. And use this will be the same thing for the other selected cases. I'll pick a few cases here. Great. This is me. And then we can go. So what happens now is that the files get all attached to the same link. As you can see it's been running here where I fill up the link information. I can go in and click generate link. And I then automatically get a link from my key assets that I can use Hangouts. Go in here and preview it. Especially once the files are ready. There we go. And you can see then it has pulled in the different information that I filled out into both the different documents that I had. And, you know, in this case, I don't even need to go into PowerPoint or anything else. I can basically create my custom made collection of different documents directly in the browser. So those were the features that we wanted to focus on today. In this presentation that we'll make sure to share, you can also go in and find more extensive videos for each of these different functionalities. And where you can look into a further deep dive for each of them. With that, let's take a look at some of the things that's coming here in the sort of early part of Q4. In Q4, we're going to double down particularly on the Tailor part of the loop and on the Learn part. The first part related to the Tailor step of the loop is what we call the AI Presentation Builder. The idea with this feature is that at one end of the scale, it gives marketing teams full control to set very, very clear boundaries of what content from the slide of instant should go into a presentation. So they can go in and define the order of the content, but they can also go in and apply different projects. So they can say, for example, if a client is in a given industry, then very specific slides needs to be used. Or if a client is a certain size, then, you know, other slides should be used and so forth. But what it also allows you to is to give the end users a very sort of simplified prompt like interface where they can just go in and write what the presentation be used for. And then the AI will then go in and make some of these decisions on behalf of the end user. So this basically allows the marketing team to get full control, but it gives the salespeople a very sort of simplified interface where they can go in and simply just ask with a few lines and they'll get what it needs. If the AI is not able to answer all the questions, the system will come back and ask clarifying questions for the salesperson to fill in. So we're really excited about this one. Another thing that we are excited about is extension to our statistics universe with the increased sort of library insights. This functionality basically have two parts. One is that it will help you make sort of more actionable or get more actionable insights from the from the dashboard. So, for example, as in this case, it'll tell you, you have 43 duplicate slides that you want to maybe take a look at. Or it guides you towards, for example, the number of searches that doesn't give any results or any slides that's not being used. So the whole idea is that you'll be really, really quick to kind of extract insights from the entire statistics suite. On the second part of what we're going to do is that we're going to give you more slide level insights related to the distribution of slides. So you're going to be able to see which of the slides that are actually being sent by the salespeople, which of the slides that have been modified before they go out and which slides have been sent that this was actually never from SlideHub in the first place. So it unlocks a lot of very actionable insights also in terms of potential things that are missing from the system or it might flag certain compliance issues. The last thing I want to talk about today in terms of what's new in the early part of Q4 is watermarks. So watermarks is basically a functionality that allows managers to go in and define these legal or compliant related watermarks. They can set them up in various different ways, both in terms of how they should work and how they should look. And then the system will then automatically apply them to either slides, Word documents or PDFs. The manager will be able to determine whether it should go on everything or just selected assets and also whether the end user should be allowed to adjust them or not. So with all that, I'll pass it back to you, Inês. Thank you, Anders. And again, if you have any questions, let us know in the chat. We're going to go through them now. We have one here. Is there any CRM integrations coming in the future? It's a really good question. And the short answer is yes. We are planning to release a number of CRM systems in the later part of Q4. For now, the plan is to start with the largest CRM system. So with Salesforce and HubSpot and then the more niche provider that we use internally inside of called Attio. So we're going to start building for those three CRM systems. The goal is very much related to the whole send and track functionality to make sure that the insights that are being generated on a deal level is being fed back to the CM system so that the seller can take action based on the information that's going on on their particular deals. So yeah, definitely something that we are excited to build as well. Great. I can see there's another one. Does the AI presentation builder actually differ from the presentation builder? It's a good question. And then the question that requires a lot of like SldeHub insights. Yeah. So what has been referred to in this case is that SlideHub already has functionality that allows you to build, you know, presentations from scratch using a prompt. The, in general, but that, what that existing functionality does is that it basically allows you to build a hundred percent, you know, free form slides. So any outline, any content, the system will try to reuse existing slides when possible, but the main focus of the functionality is building based on the outline and content that's been suggested by the end user. So the idea with the AI presentation builder is a little bit different. That what that one does is that it sets much more clear boundaries for what the slides can contain and working, what can go on the slides and so forth. So it's in, in some ways, end users might find this a little bit more limiting, but marketing people will, will experience that it gives them much more control of what is, what is doable. And it's also a way to really sort of ensure that there's no sort of, how can you say, random generated content that makes the all the way to the, to the users. So that, I think that's some quite fundamental different use cases and some quite fundamental different, you know, scenarios where you would go for one, which is the other. In general, we don't expect a lot of our customers to have both enabled. So I think some of the functions of other versions going to speak to one client set and others going to speak to another. Great. There was, there's another coming in. Can you send also documents that are not in SlideHub through the sending feature or does it need to be a document from within SlideHub? Yeah, that's a good question. So the send and track features we call it kind of the shared links, it allows you to, to share both things from SlideHub, but also anything that you, you would have on your, on your computer or SharePoint or whatever, wherever you might share files. So you basically just add them through the interface and the system will then prepare them to be distributed. So that's a, yeah, there's no requirement that they need to come from SlideHub. All right. Thank you, Anders. And thank you for everyone who joined in today. Again, to learn more about SlideHub, feel free to reach out to us or visit slidehub.com. Have a great day and we hope to see you at the next one. Take care everyone.
